Program Details

Help military members and their families deal with burdens specific to military life with a bachelor’s degree in Military Studies focusing on Resiliency. This degree program focuses on the mental, physical, and spiritual struggles of military families.

Studies include the cycle of resilience and how to apply it to situations such as long deployments, sudden moves, and traumatic events. Students will receive training that can help any individual facing events including economic disasters, armed conflicts, or natural disasters. Liberty University’s Christian viewpoint is incorporated into courses so graduates are prepared to care for service members’ spiritual burdens as well as mental and physical.

Courses cover topics including:

  • Introduction to military studies
  • The resilient warrior
  • Military leaders and leadership
  • History of American entrepreneurship

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Official transcripts
  • 2.0 GPA or higher
  • Proof of English language proficiency (international students)
