Liberty University’s 100% online Bachelor of Science in Military Studies – Resiliency track provides a focused study of military history, values, and culture that is designed to prepare professionals to enter military and paramilitary fields. For past and present military personnel, this program offers a pathway to turn experience and training into course credit to help turn their commitment and passion into a fulfilling career in intelligence, military operations, or military contracting industries. Liberty University’s Department of History has one of the highest numbers of military history specialists of any other institution of higher education in the United States. With our award-winning online instructors and accomplished military veterans will share their expertise on military operations from a Christian worldview. With this background, the School of History helps train military personnel and contractors to handle large-scale strategic and professional operations, with specialized training in a particular area of study. Through the resiliency area of study, students gain insight into the different phases of personal resilience of service members and their families. Students will be equipped to support existing and veteran military personnel with transitioning to civilian life, coping with medical complications, and growing in their spiritual development. Graduates of the B.S. in Military Studies – Resilience track will be well-prepared for roles as military analysts, grief services counselors, military outreach coordinators, veteran administration employees, and Department of Defense employees.
