Program Details

Liberty’s 100% online Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies helps students prepare for a variety of ministry and teaching roles with a foundation in ministry and biblical studies. By taking courses that focus on Bible study, theology, global engagement, and other essential topics, students gain the knowledge and tools to make an impact for Christ. Throughout this degree, students will also learn core skills that can be used in nearly any profession. Students who want to gains skills they need for ministry while opening the door to a full bachelor’s degree will benefit from the AA in Biblical Studies. Students who currently work full-time in an unrelated career but want to work in ministry part time or take the first steps toward full-time ministry will gain foundational skills and college-level general education courses in this degree. Graduates will be well-prepared for roles as camp counselors, bible study teachers, Sunday school teachers, lay-preacher roles, and roles in parachurch organizations.
