LeTourneau University's Bachelor of Business Administration in Aviation Management offers the ability to build upon previous aviation training and work experience while providing a quality educational experience from a nationally recognized and awarded aviation program.
Like all other Aviation Studies degrees from LETU, the Bachelor of Business Administration in Aviation Management degree allows students to easily transfer previously obtained aviation-related credits to work towards their degree. In addition, LeTourneau University accepts ACE credit, CLEP exams and credit for all other documented life-learning and professional training.
The BBA in Aviation Management focuses on many facets of management, including business research, accounting, business law, marketing, and finance. The Aviation Management program's goal is to provide each student with the knowledge, skills, and training to be successful managers of aviation organization nationally and world-wide.
Courses taken at the university in order to complete the Bachelor of Business Administration in Aviation Management degree include the following: Management and Leadership, Business Ethics, Aviation Management, Managerial Accounting, Aviation Human Factors, Organizational Behavior, Business Research Methods, Principles of Economics, Principles of Finance, Aviation Safety Factors, Marketing Principles, Business Law, Aviation Law, International Issues in Business OR International Travel Experience, Strategic Management and three credit hours of an elective course. In all, 124 credit hours are needed to complete degree qualifications.

The Aviation Program of LETU has been nationally recognized by the National Intercollegiate Flying Association. In 2009, LETU was awarded the Loening Trophy for most outstanding aviation program in the nation. Students of the Aviation Studies program at LETU have competed in state competitions including the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) Olympics. Students won the top team award and scored first overall in the 2011 competition.

LeTourneau University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), located in Olathe, Kansas.
LeTourneau begins its faith statement by declaring “a deep faith in God is the cornerstone of LeTourneau University.” This private not-for-profit university began as an all male college in 1956 by R.G. and Evelyn LeTourneau in Longview, Texas. It transitioned to a co-educational facility by 1961. It is an interdenominational Christian-based organization that welcomes students from all denominations.
