Program Details

The online Master of Education in Language and Literacy program prepares educators to teach effectively to all students, including English language learners, in a variety of content areas, so students are able to read, write, listen, and speak well.  The program helps educators integrate reading and writing into lesson plans, use technology in the classroom, and match readers and text as they study coursework that features the latest education theories and approaches.  Students expand their knowledge and understanding of literacy as they gain a foundation in language and its application across diverse populations and subjects, preparing them to take the next steps in their careers.
