Program Details

The online Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Elementary Education Generalist program enhances educators’ knowledge and abilities in curriculum, pedagogy, and content areas so they become more effective educators.  The curriculum covers trends in educational practice and policy, curriculum theory and development, and equity in education as students discover the latest assessment, research, and delivery methods in elementary education.  Educators can increase their understandings of subjects that are most relevant to their teaching careers by specializing in English Language Learners (ELL), math, and literacy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, from a regionally accredited college or university, with a satisfactory GPA
  • Massachusetts Initial Teacher License in Elementary (1-6) or a signed non-licensure agreement
