A private university founded in 1909 by Edith Lesley, Lesley University confers associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and certificates in 23 states and online. The education component of the school dates back to its early days as an instructional facility to educate kindergarten teachers. Today it has expanded its educational roots to prepare teachers in early education, math, science, special education, and literacy, along with programs like counseling and psychology.
