The International Logistics certificate program is designed for students interested in gaining specific knowledge and understanding of essential concepts related to the global logistics. This comprehension may be required in order to enter into or maintain careers in distribution, transportation, and manufacturing organizations. Participants in this program may use the 15 credit hours to enhance skills previously learned from careers or other experiences, or to learn an entirely new skill set for an emerging market. The international business trade typically requires academically trained professionals to perform responsibilities related to solving critical thinking situations. These individuals should also be able to continually develop essential skills needed to move upward within the manufacturing and distribution of goods and services.
Students will partake in 5 courses, each specializing in a specific area of study necessary to understanding and applying logistics. The specialized courses delve into the topics of: Introductory E-Commerce, International Business, and Introductory Logistics, among others. Completion of the International Logistics program may give graduates the opportunity to gain various positions within the international business playing field.
Upon successful completion of the required courses, students may also gain necessary information to be eligible for certification credentials through APICS, and AST&L. The International Logistics certificate may give graduates the career opportunities to pursue various positions within the international business environment. Graduates may also be able to use the diploma to seek careers in a wide range of government agencies, public and private entities, and service organizations.

Lenoir Community College is a two-year public school located in Kinston, North Carolina. LCC was established in 1958 by the State Board of Legislation. Lenoir Community College offers certificates of completion and associate’s degrees. The College offers many certificates and diploma options requiring less than two years for completion.
