Lehigh Carbon Community College
Lehigh Carbon Community College presents a program of study in Liberal Arts. This program aims to be of benefit to students are interested in various liberal arts topics, but are not ready to choose a specific one to study at a 4-year university. Students will learn about basic skills in humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. The degree takes students approximately four semesters to complete. Students are encouraged to take 15 credits per semester to stay on track and complete all 62.5 credit hours after the fourth and final semester of studying.
Some of the courses students will take are as follows: College English, Introduction to Computers and Application, and Laboratory Science (elective), among others. The degree is very flexible in that students have the option to choose which electives to take. Students are expected to consult with a Lehigh Carbon Community College academic advisor ensure all academic categories are fulfilled. After students complete all the required courses, they should have acquired a sufficient skill set to enter the workforce or continue on to a 4-year college university.
Overall, Lehigh Carbon Community College’s Liberal Arts A.A. program may potentially teach students to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, analyze intricate problems involving unclear possibilities, employ effective research methods, and effectively use written and oral communication skills.

Lehigh Carbon Community College is a two-year public school located in Shnecksville, Pennsylvania. LCCC was founded as Lehigh County Community College in 1966 and constructed new facilities to hold classes in 1972. The college changed to its current name in 1994 to increase enrollment form the nearby Carbon County.
LCCC offers two-year associate degrees, certificates and specialized diploma programs, and workforce training for students studying either full-time, part-time or online. Classes are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend.
