Ministry Leadership--Discipleship Emphasis BS
Lee University, a Christ-Centered Liberal Arts Campus, offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Ministry Leadership – Discipleship Emphasis. All students enrolled in the program must take ENGL-106 or ENGL-110 by the completion of the 18th hour of college credit. If a student does not meet this requirement, he or she must enroll in ENGL-106 or ENGL110 before enrolling in any additional courses.
The Bachelor of Science in Ministry Leadership is part of the Division of Adult Learning, and required a total of 120 credit hours for completion. Of these hours, 36 are required in the general education core portion of the program, including 12 credit hours in the humanities, 12 credit hours in communications, six credit hours in social science, and six credit hours in natural science and mathematics. Students should note that anyone who transitions from the Division of Adult Learning to a traditional undergraduate program must meet the Lee University residential genera education requirements, which can be found in the undergraduate catalog.
In the ministry leadership specialty area portion of the program, a total of 30 hours are required. The courses in this section include BIBL 204, BIBL 402, BIBL 421, CHED 340, CHMN 320, CLDR 301, CLDR 310, CLDR 450, PASM 351, and THEO 232.
In the discipleship emphasis portion of the program, a total of 24 credit hours are required. The courses include CHED 241, CHED 341, CHED 342, CHED 442, CLDR 475, DISM 201, DISM 403, and YTHM 245.
Lastly, 12 credit hours are required in the general electives portion of the program, in which students are permitted to choose a total of four courses.

Lee University is a four-year private school located in Cleveland, Tennessee. The school was established in 1918 as a Bible Training School until 1947 when the name was changed to Lee College. The school was granted university status in 1997. Lee has become one of the largest Christ-centered private institutions in Tennessee and the largest in the Appalachian College Association.

Online classes are offered through the division of Adult Learning using a program called Moodle. Courses are offered fully online, in an intensive format (hybrid online and onsite mix), or fully onsite at Lee education centers. Several undergraduate and graduate degrees are offered completely online, as well as certificates in ministry.
