Lee University offers the online Undergraduate Certificate of Intercultural Studies. With this certificate, students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary for increasing cultural sensitivity, cultural competence, and social equity. It is designed for anyone wanting to interact more effectively with people from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. The goals of the program are to facilitate awareness and understanding of a multi-ethnic society and to develop critical thinking frameworks for addressing societal inequities.


  • Graduated from an approved high school or satisfactorily completed the GED test
  • Three years of life experience beyond high school graduation
  • Official transcripts of any college work
  • If a first time college student under the age of 25, official high school transcript (or GED), and official copies of ACT or SAT scores
