Undergraduate Certificate in Christian Education

Program Details

Lee University offers the online Undergraduate Certificate of Christian Education. This program is designed to prepare prospective and current Christian educators to teach from a distinctly Christian approach. This program will give students a strong foundation for entering the Education field. 

The outcome of taking this Certificate program will be to gain a strong foundation in the education process for entering the classroom as an educator. The student will come away with a greater understanding in using a variety of teaching techniques and methods, using technology in the classroom, the importance of classroom management, and the philosophy of Christian Education. This course would benefit students who would like to become pastors, youth leaders, and ministry leaders.


  • Graduated from an approved high school or satisfactorily completed the GED test
  • Three years of life experience beyond high school graduation
  • Official transcripts of any college work
  • If a first time college student under the age of 25, official high school transcript (or GED), and official copies of ACT or SAT scores
