Lawrence Technological University offers a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management. Students have the opportunity to pick between the two concentrations depending on their interests. Project management is the discipline of planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling resources to achieve specific goals.
Lawrence Tech focuses on the “theory and practice” approach of learning in their comprehensive curriculum. The MBA core courses include: Global Leadership, Management Control Systems, Human Resources Management, Marketing Management, Global Business Economics, Information Systems and the Enterprise, Operations Management, Acquiring and Managing Financial Capital, and finally Global Strategic Management (Capstone). Some of the options for electives are as follows: Management and Organizational Behavior, Managing a Global Workface, Investment Management, International Financial Systems and Investments, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Security Systems, Network Security, Analysis and Design of Complex Systems, International Law, and more. Students may choose from any of these electives from various business concentrations offered or any graduate course with permission from their advisor.
