Program Details

The online Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science is designed for educators and registered, certified, and/or licensed health and rehabilitation professionals interested in expanded roles in professional practice, administration, research, and teaching.  The curriculum provides advanced knowledge and understanding of trends and issues in rehabilitation, exercise, and movement disorders as students develop the problem-solving skills necessary to assume leadership roles in research, clinical practice, and educational settings in health-related disciplines.  Courses advance students’ knowledge of diseases and disabilities associated with the rehabilitation sciences and provide the skills needed to improve functional limitations, impairments, and disabilities.

Requirements

  • Requires an on-site, 10-day residency
  • Must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and demonstrate through academic background and/or work experience the ability to succeed in graduate studies
  • Official transcripts of all college-level coursework
  • Two professional letters of recommendation
  • A one page personal statement
