Master of Science in Management / Marketing
Lasell College offers a Master of Science in Management degree with a specialization in Marketing for professionals with the goal of developing a knowledge of principles, practices, and strategies utilizing media and other forms of marketing for organizations. Students will learn about the fundamentals of marketing alongside new advertising and sales strategies driven by the advancement of technology and new media markets resulting from the Internet and social media.
Students will focus on a curriculum that emphasizes the roles and responsibilities professionals within an organization. Those classes include 21st century global leadership, strategic information management, financial management, organizational theory, marketing management, operations strategy, consumer behavior, marketing research, global marketing, research methods, marketing to seniors, global marketing, marketing strategy, and e-commerce.
Upon completion of the program, students will have demonstrated the necessary professional and educational qualifications necessary advanced roles in marketing departments and organizations. These qualifications include but are not limited to: the ability to demonstrate effective professional and interpersonal practices essential in marketing, to develop a range of professional strategies that promote their effectiveness in a business environment and to demonstrate ethical, legal, and responsible behavior and explain the broader role that business has in society and their own responsibilities as a member of the business community and citizens in society.
