Lasell College offers a Management Certificate for professionals interested in developing professional credentials by studying advanced and practical management skills necessary for augmenting and supplementing roles and responsibilities within a business and organizational structure. The program is a compressed opportunity for students to develop the professional skills of a manager and demonstrate the certification of the ability to do so. The program will get students acquainted with the strategies involved in the operation of a business.
Students will learn and develop their skills through a highly compressed and concentrated curriculum which is intended to develop specialized management skills. Those classes include ethical theory to management practice, business strategy, change management, research methods, conflict resolution and negotiation, principles of project management, global marketing, marketing strategy, e-commerce, change management, and topics in finance.
Upon completion of the program, students will have demonstrated their practical qualifications necessary for certification in management. These qualifications include but are not limited to: the ability to demonstrate an extensive and practical knowledge-base of theory, tools, skills, practices, and research related to business and be able to apply these to the problems and opportunities that are encountered in environments encountered in management, to demonstrate effective professional and interpersonal practices essential in business, and to develop a range of professional strategies that promote their effectiveness in a business environment.

Lasell College is a four-year private school located in Newton, Massachusetts. Lasell College was founded in 1851 as the Auburndale Female Seminary, a nationally respected women’s academy, by Edward Lasell. Lasell died the first semester that the school was running. The name changed to Lasell Seminary for Young Women and was known as an innovative institution that had a radical approach (for the time) to women’s education. In 1932, the school’s name changed again to Lasell Junior College and became Lasell College in 1989.
Lasell College offers bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees. LC has traditional classes as well as online courses. Lasell’s graduate programs are flexible and convenient, so students pursue an advanced degree that fits into their personal and professional lives. All master's degrees are offered online with six start dates throughout the year.
