Program Details

Laramie County Community College offers two options for an online psychology degree, the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science in Psychology.  A concentration in social work is also available for those interested in focusing on that area.  The online classes offer a quality education while providing convenient and flexible course schedules.  Students will learn a variety of different topics within the Elective Core courses.  Some subjects the curriculum will cover are human behavior, neural transmission, nervous system, sensation, learning, and drug effects on behavior.  Instructors will give hands on experience in research techniques, social perceptions, and application of psychology knowledge.

The Associate of Science degree prepares students to transfer into the junior year of a Bachelor of Science degree program while the Associate of Arts prepares students to transfer into the junior year of a Bachelor of Arts degree program in the field.
