The Associate in Arts in Psychology program at Lansing Community College will educate students in the foundation of psychology. The program has been designed for students that are interested in advancing their psychology education by pursing a bachelor’s degree at a four-year institution.
The program’s courses are offered online and have flexible schedules. The courses, however, will not be completed at your own pace. There will be strict due dates for assignments, papers, discussion posts, and quizzes. Students may have to attend campus for courses that require on-campus exams and presentations. The online program will also require access to high-speed internet and a personal computer.
Lansing Community College provides various resources to help make online learning easier. Students will have access to an online library, 24/7 technical support, and online tutoring. If a student has questions regarding the program’s courses there is an online advisor to provide assistance and guidance. Some courses that will be offered within the program are Introduction to Psychology, Psychology of Personality, Social Psychology, Human Growth and Development, and Abnormal Psychology.
