Program Details

The online Master of Science in Emergency Management program is designed to enhance careers that relate to emergency management, such as insurance adjustment, government planning and public administration, transportation logistics management, information technology management, charitable management, and first-response.  The interdisciplinary curriculum borrows from several academic disciplines and best-practices while helping students gain knowledge and skills in the science of management during natural and man-made disasters.  You will learn to handle all stages of emergency management, from preparedness and first response to long-term recovery, on both a small and a large scale.
