Program Overview

Lancaster Bible College provides specialized degrees suitable for student’s interests and career goals. LBC promotes missionary service and ministry, which is evident in their Bible Degree program. 

To be eligible for a Bachelor of Science in Bible, students must demonstrate at least 45 credits from an accredited college or university. 

Students without any Bible or theology credits yet want to enter the Bible Degree program will need to take LBC’s Bible, ministry and theology courses. Transfer students are allowed to bring in Bible and theology credits to avoid duplicating courses. Transfer students may need to take elective credits to fulfill the necessary requirement. 

A minimum of 30 credit hours must be completed at LBC to gradate. To obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible, students need 120 semester credit hours to satisfy the degree requirement. Lancaster Bible College requires a cumulative 2.0 GPA to graduate. For completion requirements, students need to have completed the Christian Service requirements, and re-affirm a Statement of Faith. General education requirements consist of 42 credit hours, mandatory for completion of LBC’s Bible degree.

    Lancaster Bible College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation (ABHE). MSCHE and ABHE are both institutional accrediting agencies recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
