Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology
Consisting of 120 credit hours, a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Lamar University prepares students for careers in management and industrial technology. The B.S. in Industrial Technology is designed for those who have completed a two-year technology program and have an Associate of Applied Science degree, or a minimum of 36 credit hours from courses related to technology from Lamar Institute of Technology.
Admission into the Industrial Technology program is dependent upon a minimum 2.0 GPA, completion of 40 credit hours towards the A.A.S. degree, and a completed application.
Students can expect to develop skills in modern technology, experimental practices, communication, and analyzing and interpreting data.
Students further their knowledge and ability in mathematics, science and engineering. Lamar University graduates demonstrate professional leadership and problem solving dealing with industrial technology problems.
