Program Details

Lamar University offers the online liberal arts degree, the Bachelor of General Studies or BGS.  This is a multidisciplinary general liberal arts degree, providing individuals with the opportunity to self-design personal curricular plans.  It is offered through the Center for General Studies.  You can create your own curriculum with this liberal arts degree.  Students take courses in several areas that interest them, giving them a broad-based education and preparing them for many unique and challenging career paths.
