Lamar University offers the online BGS. This is a multidisciplinary general degree which exists to provide an individual with the opportunity to self-design a personal curricular plan. It is offered through the Center for General Studies. You can create your own curriculum and take courses in several areas that interest you, giving you a broad-based education and preparing you for many unique and challenging career paths.
This program offers both traditional and accelerated online programs.
High school diploma from an accredited high school. Completed 14 high school credits in college preparatory classes. Satisfy requirements of the State of Texas Uniform Admission Policy. Graduate top 10 percent of high school class or achieve minimum composite score on SAT/ACT.
