The Associate of Applied Science in Real Estate is an online real estate degree from Lamar Institute of Technology.  Students planning on working in the sales, appraisal, brokerage, or finance areas of the real estate industry will find this degree beneficial.  It is designed for both those new to the field and those who want to expand their professional knowledge.  This program satisfies the educational requirements of the Texas Real Estate Commission for salespersons’ licenses and renewal.  Upon completion you will have the training needed to complete the Texas Real Estate Commission license examination.  The curriculum includes both general education and technical courses.  Courses cover real estate principles, appraisals, finance, and law.
