Lake Superior College in Duluth, Minnesota offers an online Associate of Arts degree. The innovative online format allows working students the opportunity to earn a useful degree while still fulfilling current career and family obligations. The Associate in Arts Degree is a Liberal Arts degree that gives students the opportunity to explore a variety of fields, including psychology, history, literature, physical science, life science, math and statistics. Colleges that offer an Associate level program often have transfer agreements with four-year institutions that allow students to transfer some or all of credit hours earned toward a bachelor's degree. Students still need to meet the admission requirements of the four-year school and be in touch with the future schools enrollment staff to ensure acceptance.
