Program Details

The online Master of Science in Nursing /  Nursing Education prepares nurses to serve in leadership roles within the healthcare system. The program prepares nurses to take the American Nurses Credentialing Center's basic certification examination for Nurse Administrators.

Students will learn to create curricula and plan, revise, implement, and evaluate programs.  Professionals in this field can also expect to perform routine administrative tasks like: scheduling issues, managing confidential medical records and serve as the liaison between faculty members for inpidual patient cases. 

Graduates will be prepared to work in nurse educator roles within bachelor and associate degree programs, health care staff development, continuing education programs, or community education programs.
