School Details

On May 21, 1996, the voters of Klamath County overwhelmingly approved the formation of the Klamath Community College Service District with a 79 percent affirmative vote. Klamath Community College joined Oregon’s largest education network; there are now 17 Oregon community colleges. The stated mission of Klamath Community College is to “provide accessible, quality education and services in response to the diverse needs of the student, business, and community.” The College supports student success in workforce training, academic transfer, foundational skills development, and community education.

KCC offers online courses, degrees, and a certificate in fulfillment of its mission. Online courses provide opportunities for students to take classes from anywhere, and allow education to take place around busy schedules. KCC online degrees are as rigorous as on-campus degrees but with 24/7 accessibility from anywhere there is an internet connection. Even with online learning students are able to connect with their peers and instructors using discussion forums.
