This program aims to equip its students with the skills and knowledge needed to quickly gain certification as a vascular sonography technician. This program aims to help students acquire a foundational knowledge that leads to being able to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating disorders that affect the circulation of blood in arteries and veins.

By the end of this program, a student should be able to perform the following tasks and convey the following knowledge: to be able to work with patients, their families, and health care team members; to be able to perform patient examinations while respecting their dignity; to be able to acquire and analyze data by using ultrasound and related vascular technology; to provide a summary of findings to aid in patient diagnosis and management; finally, to be able to utilize judgment and systematic problem solving in order to produce high-quality diagnostic information.
