Program Details

The online Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics is an interdisciplinary program with courses from Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, and Health Informatics.  Courses include health informatics, healthcare organization, information systems, project management, ethics and legal issues, and quality improvement.  Students learn to analyze, design, implement, and evaluate information and communication systems that enhance individual and population health outcomes, improve patient care, and strengthen the clinician-patient relationship.


  • A minimum of a 2.2 college GPA on a 4.0 scale and the equivalent of 45 semester hours or an associate degree*

*This is a bachelor completion program. Students who do not have 45 or more semester hours may be eligible for enrollment in the online Associate of Arts program as a pathway to a bachelors degree.
