For busy students who wish to earn the skills and knowledge to enter and thrive within such a field, the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from King University is an ideal program. This Bachelor’s degree provides flexibility and support for hard-working students with hectic schedules and bustling lives. This Bachelor’s degree is aimed in part at working professionals, helping to supplement prior knowledge in order to strengthen individuals as a whole. In order to complete this BS, students must complete a total of 48 credits within the healthcare administration program, supplementing the total of 124 credit hours required to graduate from King University. Focusing on human resources, organization and policy, healthcare management, and ethics and legality, this program draws from a range of subjects and experiences to provide students with adaptability and critical thinking skills. The 48 required hours are split into 12 4-credit courses, including one introductory seminar, 9 3000-level, and 2 4000-level classes. In the 3000-level, students with learn about accounting, research methods, biostatistics, and management improvements and outcomes. 4000-level courses include instruction in ethical and legal issues as well as understanding sustainability in the modern healthcare field. The focus on ethics, finance, and management may prepare graduates for leadership in whatever sector of the healthcare industry they choose.


Applicants must have an Associate’s degree or 60 hours of credit from King University or an accredited institution, while having maintained a 2.2 GPA. Transfer work must have been completed with a final grade of C- or better and is weighed and accepted depending on the institution’s accreditation, quality, and program relevance; up to 88 credits may be accepted.
