Master of Library and Information Science

Program Details

The online Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) program prepares students for positions of leadership in librarianship and the information profession.  The curriculum delves into the intrinsic topics necessary for a student’s success in the desired academic positions.  Students gain a solid understanding of topics such as tools for MLIS success, access to information, organization of information, information technology for library and information professionals, foundations of library and information science, and management for library and information professionals.

Requirements

  • Must have completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher
