Master of Geographic Information Science

Program Details

The online Master of Geographic Information Science (GISc) offers skills and knowledge to delve into exciting and evolving areas within GISc.  Students will have the opportunity to design, manage, and use geographic information technologies to develop and improve tools and systems used every day.

Graduates of the GISc program can drive innovation and apply modern technologies to their careers in nonprofit, government, or business sectors.


Must have completed a bachelor’s degree in geography or a related field from an accredited university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in another discipline who have an evidence of professional experience using geospatial technologies will also be considered. Resume. Goal statement. Two letters of recommendation.
