The online Associate in Applied Science in Early Childhood Education program prepares graduates to successfully work with today’s children and families by emphasizing developmentally appropriate practice and standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Students learn to foster growth in all developmental domains for children birth to age 8 and to demonstrate ethical behavior. The program prepares students to partner with families to ensure childhood success, to observe and assess child skills and development, and to use observation to inform curriculum planning.
