Program Overview

Kendall College in Chicago, Illinois, offers a B.A in Business with a Concentration in Marketing Methods. This new concentration is an expansion of the founding principles taught in other major marketing courses. These concentration courses emphasize the different skills and strategies required to properly handle marketing communications. Students who take the Marketing Methods concentration have the opportunity to create and finish messaging to target different markets in a variety of ways.

There are multiple courses in the Marketing Methods Concentration that all students must complete. These courses include, but are not limited to: Consumer Behavior, Holistic Brand Management, Public Relations Strategy and Tactics, Relationship Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, Marketing Technologies, Socially Responsible Marketing, Business Development and Special Topics in Marketing. Once completed, students will have all the required skills necessary for whichever career choice they come to in the future.

The Bachelor of Arts in Business at Kendall College teaches students the skills that will help them excel in successful careers. The Business School recognizes that the marketplace is ever changing and unpredictable. Their goal is to help prepare students for whatever comes their way in the business world.

 At the end of the program all students will complete a capstone to demonstrate the business knowledge gained through the business school. The capstone helps students present their knowledge in a real-world environment.

    School Overview

    Kendall College is a four-year private school located in Chicago, Illinois. The school was founded in 1934 as Evanston Collegiate Institute by two seminarians endorsed by the Scandinavian Conference of the Methodist Church. In 1950 the school was renamed Kendall College to honor the Washington National’s Founders, Curtis Kendall and his family. Kendall College is a subsidiary of Laureate Education, which operates an international network of accredited campus-based and online universities

    Kendall College offers certificates of completion, associate’s degrees, and bachelor’s degrees in hospitality management, culinary arts, business, and early childhood education. Special learning opportunities available to students include: teacher certification, distance learning, study abroad, and weekend/evening classes.
