Kendall College is a four-year private school located in Chicago, Illinois. The school was founded in 1934 as Evanston Collegiate Institute by two seminarians endorsed by the Scandinavian Conference of the Methodist Church. In 1950 the school was renamed Kendall College to honor the Washington National’s Founders, Curtis Kendall and his family. Kendall College is a subsidiary of Laureate Education, which operates an international network of accredited campus-based and online universities
Kendall College offers certificates of completion, associate’s degrees, and bachelor’s degrees in hospitality management, culinary arts, business, and early childhood education. Special learning opportunities available to students include: teacher certification, distance learning, study abroad, and weekend/evening classes.
