Program Details

The online Social Justice Education Graduate Certificate focuses on the principles of social justice education that promote equitable, sustainable, and transformative change in various formal and non-formal educational settings.  The curriculum teaches individuals how to take theory to practice and collaboratively create meaningful and sustainable changes in communities and workplaces.  This program provides an interdisciplinary experience that helps individuals ensure all groups have the opportunity to receive resources equally; helps them better understand the world around them; and prepares them to recognize, name, and combat inequities in schools, communities, and society.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3.0 minimum GPA in the final two years or approximately the last 60 credit hours
  • Transcript(s) from each institution attended
  • Complete SJE certificate application
  • Resume
