The online Master of Public Health degree prepares you to make a difference in your community.  Focus is placed on preventing injury and disease, teaching you how to design and implement strategies and interventions to protect and improve community health.  Learn to address the physical, social, and environmental determinants of health at the population level through evidence-based research and disease prevention. 

Choose between two areas of emphasis:

  • Food Safety and Biosecurity focuses on food safety, globalization, and the influence of international trade on public health
  • Public Health Nutrition examines the role of nutrition in public health and population-based nutrition programs
