Kansas State University offers a Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (MIOP). This 38-credit-hour program provides students and working professionals with the opportunity to apply new human resource concepts, knowledge, skills, and analytical tools to their occupations. Students will gain a foundation based on behavioral science principles applied in a problem-solving framework, and an understanding of how to effectively utilize computer and information technologies in human resource decision-making. Students will also refine their communication skills to remain effective and ethical while guiding organizational change.
A bachelor's degree with 3.0 GPA in the final two years, or approximately the last 60 credit hours. Two years of human resource managerial or supervisory experience. Undergraduate course work or on-the-job training and continuing education unit (CEU) equivalents in: psychology, social sciences, human resources, management, statistics (must have one college course in statistics).
