Kansas State University offers a Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (MIOP). This 38-credit-hour program provides students and working professionals with the opportunity to apply new human resource concepts, knowledge, skills, and analytical tools to their occupations. Students will gain a foundation based on behavioral science principles applied in a problem-solving framework, and an understanding of how to effectively utilize computer and information technologies in human resource decision-making. Students will also refine their communication skills to remain effective and ethical while guiding organizational change.

    A bachelor's degree with 3.0 GPA in the final two years, or approximately the last 60 credit hours. Two years of human resource managerial or supervisory experience. Undergraduate course work or on-the-job training and continuing education unit (CEU) equivalents in: psychology, social sciences, human resources, management, statistics (must have one college course in statistics). Statement of objectives. Resume or Curriculum Vitae. Transcripts.

    Two weeks each summer for program years one and two are required.
