Master of Science in Chemical Engineering

Program Details

The Master of Science in Chemical Engineering program is designed for working professionals who have already obtained a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.

Chemical engineers are employed by industries involved in:

  • Energy
  • Agriculture
  • Advanced materials
  • Manufacturing
  • Consumer products
  • Biotechnology
  • Microelectronics


Students will need to come to campus for one oral examination.

Application Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or above for the last 60 hours of courses taken
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores (waived for candidates holding a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution)
