Graduate Certificate in Gerontology (Great Plains IDEA)

Program Details

The Gerontology graduate certificate provides credentials in gerontology for students who do not need a master's degree. It is designed for professionals who are either working directly with older people or who are involved in education or research related to aging issues. Students will focus on core competencies identified by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education.

This program is offered through the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance (Great Plains IDEA); regionally accredited schools working in partnership to provide students with online opportunities. Students apply at their school of choice.
