Program Details

This fully online BS in Human Development & Family Sciences is a flexible undergraduate program giving you the opportunity to branch out into different careers.  In essence, the degree explores how to implement and evaluate services and programs for families.  So, whether you plan a career in counseling, administration, social services or nonprofit work, this degree can give you a firm foothold.  When you have earned this online bachelor’s, you’ll have the qualifications to provisionally have a Certified Family LIfe Education designation (CFLE) by the National Council on Family Relations.  Coursework usually comprises:

  • Middle Childhood and Adolescence
  • Family Theory and Science
  • Helping Relationships


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA
  • ACT/SAT scores (not required of students 21 or older)
