Program Details

The online Family Studies and Human Services degree program examines the underlying human development in a family context across the life cycle. Students are given the tools necessary to manage programs and services for individuals and communities. Students establish core foundations in human development while customizing their own program of study.


This is a bachelor completion program. A total of 124 credits are required, including two years of prior college transfer credits.

Admission requires: Official transcripts. Minimum 2.0 GPA or above. Priority is given to students completing these following courses at Kansas State (or transfer equivalents): Expository Writing I and II; Introduction to Public Speaking; Life Science; College Algebra; Introduction to Statistics; and those with Proof of English proficiency.
