Kansas State University offers an online finance master's degree, the Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning.  Personal financial planners help families and individuals understand financial products, how they work, and the role of the family in making financial decisions.  K-State’s programs prepare students for careers in industry, banking, retirement planning, estate planning, personnel benefits, real estate, insurance, investments, and consumer affairs.  Graduates often find rewarding work in corporations or independent firms. 

There are three tracks to choose from, of which students choose two:

  • Personal Financial Planning
  • Financial Therapy
  • Advanced Financial Planning
