The online Master of Science in Nonprofit Management explores the diverse landscape of nonprofit industry while learning the skills needed to pursue leadership or management positions for organizations like hospitals; local, state, and federal agencies; charitable establishments; churches; and more. Beyond a broad understanding of the industry as a whole, students also learn about resource development, finance and budgeting, effective management techniques, and concepts and theories used to assess the social and ethical responsibilities of nonprofit organizations. Courses also teach the theories, policies, and practices of nonprofit management to facilitate collaboration between public and nonprofit and between private and nonprofit organizations.
