The Johns Hopkins Certificate in Intelligence is designed for students who are interested in intelligence, whether as national security professionals or as citizens and taxpayers. It is especially useful for people seeking a job in the Intelligence Community or who are already in it and wish to position themselves for advancement.
The program provides students with an understanding of the ways in which the United States practices intelligence; the purposes to which it puts intelligence; the limits upon intelligence -practical, legal, ethical and theoretical; and the important debates about the issue. The faculty are scholars and practitioners with many years of experience in the field.
Graduates of the program will be highly qualified and sought after intelligence experts prepared for important positions within the Intelligence Community.
A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited US college or university, or equivalent international credential is required.
