Program Details

Johns Hopkins University offers a dual degree online combining the fields of business and economics. The MBA / Master of Science in Applied Economics program eliminates the overlap between the two degrees to allow you to earn both with fewer courses and in less time than pursuing each degree separately.

Core classes cover subject matter common to both business and economics, including macro- and micro-economic theory, statistics, and econometrics. You will then go on to complete individual requirements for the two degrees. Additional topics of study include corporate finance, investment, business law, leadership in organizations, negotiation, and more. Graduates will have the advanced skills in leadership and finance to pursue high-level positions in a wide range of industries.
