Program Details
The Johns Hopkins University Master's program in Global Security Studies is part of the Center for Advanced Governmental Studies. The program brings together theory and practice in the study of global security and its effects, domestically and abroad. In this program, students will blend analytic and policy tools and theoretical foundations necessary to shape today’s security environment. Students learn how to shape defense policy and intelligence; promote energy, environmental and economic security; and grapple with cross-cutting issues such as cyber norms, transnational crime and human security.
