Program Details
The online Doctor of Nursing Practice / Family Primary Care Nurse Practitioner degree program from Johns Hopkins University will prepare you to practice at an advanced level to provide care to individuals and families across the lifespan (including pediatric through geriatric populations).
You’ll gain the knowledge and skills required to:
- Provide the initial, ongoing, and comprehensive care to patients in ambulatory and outpatient settings
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Provide preventative health care, including health promotion, disease prevention, and health education and counseling
Graduates are eligible to apply for certification exams through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Certification Program or through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program.
