Program Details

The online Cyber Security Career Studies Certificate is designed for individuals who want to work in cyber security and networking without completing additional schooling at this time.  The curriculum provides the skills and knowledge needed for students to begin their careers in these areas.  Graduates are able to demonstrate knowledge of network security models and policy, communicate effectively, and are knowledgeable in network attacks, hacking, and protection measures.  Courses include:

  • Introduction to Network Concepts 
  • Network Security Basics
  • Network Attacks, Computer Crime and Hacking 
  • Network Communication, Security and Authentication 
  • Network Security Layers

Requirements

  • High school diploma from an accredited high school or the equivalent certificate (GED), or who is at least 18 years of age
