Program Details

With technology at the core of every business today, the safety of that technology and the information it contains is paramount.  An online MBA in Cybersecurity from John Brown University will prepare you to manage and lead within your organization using Christian principles.  You will not only gain the technical insight to understand cyberattacks, but you will also gain the skills to communicate and relate that information to other managers to assist with strategic decision-making.  Coursework may include:

  • Cybersecurity foundations
  • Legal issues and ethics
  • IT risk management
  • Security policies and privacy


  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with an undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.70 or higher
  • Evidence of competency in the areas of computer programming, algebra and networks
  • 200-word essay regarding the applicant’s professional plans and reasons for seeking acceptance into the program
  • Official transcript from the college awarding the undergraduate degree
  • Official transcripts of graduate course work completed and/or degrees earned at any other institution, if applicable
  • Graduate recommendation forms from three persons who are not related to the applicant but are familiar with the applicant’s character and scholarship
