Jefferson Online offers the online Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Quality and Safety. This certificate is designed to teach students the ins and outs of healthcare related quality and safety control. This program may allow graduates to earn the skills and knowledge to be able to design and choose policies that meet a high level of both efficiency and patient safety. The program covers a range of related issues from organizational behavior in health care to population health management. The curriculum of this program seeks to give students the tools and leadership skills needed to control policy in a health care setting while keeping costs low and patient health in the forefront.
- Earned baccalaureate or graduate degree with approximate GPA of 3.0 or higher (or equivalent)
- At least three years of relevant experience in a clinical setting prior to entering the program or participation in a current residency or fellowship program
- Ability to perform graduate work demonstrated by either a graduate degree or at least 9 credits of appropriate graduate coursework with a grade of B or higher; OR a competitive score on the GRE or other graduate entrance examination
